Overview

The Akhal-Teke Foundation presents at stud outstanding purebred Akhal-Teke star stallion Adamek, the top U.S. Akhal-Teke horse in equestrian sports of his generation.

Adamek's many honors include the 2022 Adequan/USDF All Breeds Final Award winner for Akhal-Tekes, the ATAA Highlight Horse for 2021, and the ATAA Producer of the Year for 2020. Adamek exemplifies Akhal-Teke athletic excellence, winning regularly in open competition with imported Warmbloods.

Adamek is a handsome bay, 15.2 hands. He has shown successfully in dressage at the FEI Prix St George level. At Fourth Level Open dressage, he won reserve champion for all breeds in the USDF GAIG Region 1 Championships in 2022, and in 2023 Adamek was the Virginia state open third level champion, and open fourth level reserve champion. He has also shown in three day eventing up to Training Level 3, including the USEA AEC Adequan Gold Cup Finals.

Adamek is a great-grandson of Absent, the most successful Akhal-Teke in modern equestrian sport, Olympic Gold Medalist in dressage at the 1960 Olympics. Adamek is a son of Absent's grandson Gindarkh, born in Kazakhstan, who traveled the world with the Mongolian State Circus and then with the Ringling Bros Circus. Adamek's dam, Agniya, born in Russia, also produced the 2016 North American breed champion stallion, Anikit.
