"Dudley" is truly a one of a kind stallion. He embodies what has come to be known as the "gentle gene" that has been passed down through the Poco Bueno lineage. His athleticism matched with his kind, calm demeanor have made him a solid competitor in the arena. He has AQHA points and money earned team roping along with money earned barrel racing. He is the type of horse you can always rely on to give 1000% whether his job that day is backing into the box to rope steers, heading down the alleyway to the first barrel or packing kids around teaching them how to rope the dummy. We believe these qualities along with his impeccable conformation and pedigree make him a phenomenal stallion to cross on multiple types of mares from foundation bred, to reining bred, to running bred and everything in-between.
His sire is an own son of Little Steel Dust who is a NFQHA legend for being the all time leading sire of NFQHA point earners. Little Steel Dust is also the sire of multiple AQHA ROM earners, AQHA World Show Top 10 qualifiers, NRHA and NRCHA money earners, and multiple NFQHA champions.
His dam is an own daughter of Poco Process who was from the Mel Belcher program and is the sire of NRHA money earners. Her dam, Lassie Blackburn, was a great producing mare with offspring being used in breeding programs as far away as France.
