Overview
Royal Tourmalet SPF offers a pedigree that highlights both talent for dressage and superior character and rideability. His sire Royal Prince was Reserve Champion of both his 30-day and 70-day Stallion Performance Test earning scores of 10 for his rideability and walk. A top talent for US dressage, Royal Prince finished fourth at the World Championships for Young Horses, one of the highest American finishes to date. Through Royal Prince, we gain the influence of the Grand Prix dressage stallion Rohdiamant and the influential Thoroughbred stallion Prince Thatch. Royal Tourmalet’s dam Adira, by Armin, provides rare access to the Hanoverian A-line. Her sire, Armin, was a winner both in hand and undersaddle including winning the Dressage At Devon Grand Championship, won a team Bronze Medal at the Sports Festival, won team Bronze at the North American Young Riders Championship, and ranked 11th in the nation for Intermediaire I. Much like their sire, the Armin offspring were successful in hand and undersaddle under professionals, amateurs, and junior riders alike, with many equally as successful in the hunter ring as in the dressage ring.
Royal Tourmalet is available via frozen semen for $600 per dose, $1,200 for a 1-Season contract, or $1,600 for a 2-Season contract.
