Overview

With a pedigree that packed with top performers, Jayson is sure to catch dressage breeder’s attention. His sire, Johnson, had an impressive career including the World Equestrian Games, Olympics, and European Championships. Johnson’s exceptional production record has earned him the coveted #1 ranking in the world on the WBFSH Dressage Sire rankings, ahead of his sire, the influential stallion Jazz who has ranked in the top 5 of the WBFSH Dressage Sire rankings for over ten years.

Jayson’s dam, Zamora B, has already produced 2 approved sons as well as an Elite and Ster daughter. Zamora’s oldest offspring Esperanto successfully moved up to Grand Prix in 2023 after winning the USDF Region 1 Finals at Intermediate 1 in 2021. Zamora’s sire is the revered stallion, Negro. An impressive FEI competitor himself, he has an incredible record for siring Grand Prix horses, including Olympic and World Cup Champion Valegro and 2-time World Young Horse Champion Kjento.

Performance

Jayson convincingly won his NRPS Stallion Performance Test and went on to complete the KWPN Short-Term Performance Test earning multiple scores of 8 or above and 9’s for rideability and attitude. Jayson placed 6th in the PAVO Cup Finals in 2018 and 11th in 2019, and was an Alternate for the WBFSH Young Horse Championships. In 2024 he made his CDI small tour debut with Charlotte Fry.

Offspring

His early foals have impressed in both Holland and the US with their modern type and strong movement.  Breeders looking to add size, improve suppleness, strength and carriage in movement; as well as rideability should make Jayson a top consideration.
